Micraft 9 crashes when loading/starting a project

For the last few months or so i've been unable to start or load any projects in Mixcraft 9, it was working fine until late july. I've just discovered this forum after searching for solutuions but no one else seems to have this issue. Can anyone help me?

Hi,
Does it crash if you don't load a project?
If so, try this:
Run the file called "Reset Audio To Factory Defaults" that is in your Acoustica Mixcraft 9 program files folder.
C:\Program Files\Acoustica Mixcraft 9
Also make sure that you have the latest audio drivers for your sound device. Check the manufacturer's web page in the support/download area.
If it only crashes when you load a project, can you load any projects? Check the backup folder inside your project folder and see if you can open a backup of the project.
