Dragging to repeat MIDI clip question
After programming a 1-bar drum pattern in the drum editor I then drag the clip to repeat to the length of the song. I then edit accordingly (fills etc.). Any edit I make affects every copy unless I split both ends of the actual copy that I want to edit. So is there a way of dragging the original 1-bar pattern so that it is ready to be edited without having to do that? I'm asking because Cubase has the option, when dragging to repeat, of choosing "shared copies" or not which is a real time-saver.

Re: Dragging to repeat MIDI clip question
Hi,
Hold the Alt key, click and hold on the clip itself and drag to make an independent copy.
