Show Instruments after import midifile Mixcraft9

Post by beanbear6 »

Hi, is it possible to display the instruments in mixcraft after importing a midi file so that it looks like in my midi file player?

Hi,

If that information is in the MIDI file, then Mixcraft can display it. Here's an example MIDI file that does that:

Hi,

How is the MIDI file being created? What are your options when you create the MIDI file? If the hardware or program that created the MIDI file didn't add the instrument names, and there's no option to make it do that, I suppose you could get some kind of MIDI utility, edit the file, and add the names.
