Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone could shed a light on this issue I'm having. I always use Mixcraft on two monitors (one for the DAW itself, and the other one for Mixing panel/Library). However, whenever I have the library open on the second monitor while doing a playback of the current track I'm working on, the playback seems 'choppy' (only visually, not hearing anything different though). This is annoying because it makes it difficult to drag in samples while the song is being played back because everything is 'laggy'. Is there any way to get this fixed. At first I assumed this was due to high processing power needed to run both library and daw playback itself simultaneously, but I upgraded a while back to a decent pc which has more than enough processing power to allow a smooth workspace. This problem only persists when I have the library open when doing a playback, not with the mixing panel.
If anyone knows a workaround to make it seem a bit smoother, please let me know as this would improve the flow of my work a bit.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
We had noticed this issue with the library in the past. I'll make sure a bug report is filed on it.
Edited to add: just to make sure, you've got Mixcraft 9.0 build 469, correct?

Hey apparently I was on an older build for mixcraft 9. I now updated the client and tried the playback like before with the library window open next to it and it seems a lot smoother than it was before so I think that worked for me. Thanks for the quick reply.

hey sorry to necro this thread but apparently the problem still persists after doing the update, I thought it was gone but it came back, sorry for the confusion.
