Pops and crackles...

Alright i been getting this problem lately. Everytime i open up mixcraft project , for the first 15 minutes there are pops and crackles, but after 15 minutes it goes away and project plays smoothly. is it becaue i record to an external hard drive?

Try recording to your internal drive and see if the problem goes away.

and sometimes when i have too many tracks... it does that. and recently when i hit record it studders and then stops.

no it records but when i hit space bar to STOP recording it studders ...... i still havent updated to build 96 yet , i have 95. it wasnt like this before. its not a big problem , but im just wondering what it is.

Try updating to 96 (actually 97 is already on the beta page) and try setting your recording folder to your internal drive just for a test.
