somethign is bunged up?
hey i could just be retarded but i just loaded mixcraft 4.1 on to my computer and when i try to record stuff nothing happens...like the play bar/line doesnt even move. am i supposed to reset something when i start the program or i just missing something really obvious?? any help would be great. thanks!!
Sounds like you're missing a few basic steps.
You have to set up your recording device and arm the tracks.
Click on "File", "Preferences" then "Sound Device". Once in there, you will find your device. Don't know what you are using so you'll have to figure that part out for now.
Now come out of there and go to your track.
Say Track 1. You see the word "Arm" followed by a small drop down arrow.
Click on that arrow and again, your device should be in there. Scroll your cursor across that bar and "Stereo, Left, Right" appears. Keep in mind that is referring to your SOURCE.
Choose "Left" and your track should now be armed.
If you are using an interface with more than one channel, go to track 2 and this time click on "Right"
You should be good to go.
