Change effects within a given track?

I'm a new user - having just purchased the musicians bundle. Seems very similar to M-Session Audio, but I like the support of VST and VSTi. My question is - can you change an effect within a track? For example, if I'm playing a guitar solo, and in the middle want to turn on or off trmelo, can that be done?

I relaize I can spit the track into two sections and have specific effects on each - just wanted to know if that coudl be done within the track (like the volume can be temporarily boosted or reduced).

Hi,

You can do that in Mixcraft 5, which hasn't been released yet.

In Mixcraft 4, you can split sections of tracks, move them straight down to another track, and apply the effect there.
