ASIO-4-all? Help!!

Post by kr236rk »

hi,

had MixCraft4 set up perfectly with FastTrack as interface - brilliant - then 'some kind person' suggested i download ASIO-4-all drivers because they were 'so good for everything'. so i did. then i tried to record to MixCraft this evening - NOTHING WORKED. so i uninstalled ASIO. Now MixCraft won't recognise FastTrack and i've been using this interface for years with MixCraft

please help - all my months and years of carefully aligning all this gear ruined by someone who sounded like they knew what they were talking about, when will i ever learn?

advice urgently required: can't believe this has happened!

Hi

Yeah, ASIO4All is just a generic ASIO driver. It's generally better to use the ASIO drivers that come with the device. It's really for people who are just using the integrated sound cards built into their motherboards.
