Application error messags on exit

Post by Killer » Thu Sep 28, 2006 8:18 am

Mixcraft v251 Build 55
Win XP

When I exit from Mixcraft I am getting the error message below; this seems to only occur with one project. I suspect it's due to an effect playing up, as I have had errors on a PG Music effect before.

After the message (which comes up three times after I exit), Mixcraft will start OK, and th saem project works fine.

Any ideas/fixes?

Hi,

If you turn off the effects on that project, does the error still occur? If not, it's just a matter of figuring out which effect is causing the problem. You can look at the Mixcraft-log.txt file to see if there are any clues in there.

Hi Greg

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, as soon as I try to disable this effect I get a GPF-type error and Mixcraft closes.

I guess the lesson learned is to not use that effect.

Cheers

Steve

Hi,

Yeah, there's no telling what will happen with third-party effects. One thing to try would be to see if there are any updates from that company. Otherwise, like you said, don't use that effect.
