You have a survey for what kinds of loops people want in Mixcraft 5, but why not also have a survey for what new features people would like?

Okay, thanks, but it's a bit stupid having that in a 'v5 Beta' section. Why not a 'v6 beta' section? Furthermore, whenever I try to add my suggestion there I keep getting booted out. So what's going on?

Go ahead and post your Mixcraft 6 suggestions here. We read these forums all the time and are always interested to hear your suggestions.

There's also a larger thread of Mixcraft 6 suggestions in this forum, if you search for it. It got to be 3 or 4 pages long.

Hi,

It would be nice if we could tap on the keyboard to set the tempo.

Also if we could preview the metronome without having to
hit the record or play button that would be nice too.

Ive been asking for a tap tempo since version 3. Ive been using this site for a tap tempo, it's the best work around Ive found.

I would strongly suggest the addition of a button on the mixer to switch the output between stereo and mono, ie. combining left and right into a monaural signal. Such a basic feature should really be essential in order to check for cross-channel phase cancelling.

Whilst this may not matter if the final mix is listened to in stereo, it would prove a total disaster when listened to through a monaural device such as a portable radio. Imagine the catastrophe if someone's work gets played by a radio station, and Mixcraft would get the blame for wrecking someone's prospects.

Mixcraft already has a tap tempo. Just click on the tempo in the time display to the right of Mixcraft's play button. It'll open the 'Edit Marker' dialog, and right next to the tempo setting it the Tap Tempo button. You can click it with your mouse to set the tempo. Or, once you've clicked it once with the mouse, you can use the Enter key on your keyboard to set the tempo.

is in need of a step sequencer

in all due respect beatcraft isnt all that good.

your designers you should look at fl studio.take note of the stepsequencer.

the ability to delete vst's in mixcraft would be good.

it picks up all my fl studio vst i dont wont mixcraft to have.

it needs elastic audio. (from pro tools)

and theabilty to fully master in it.

but you need to keep the mixer. that saves having to load a an EQ vst. you can monitor it all and get a really good mix

acoustica should get in to hardware to. like cubase controlloers and allthat

Eric proved the point with his album Meet My Demons, using samples from a Tama kit with Beatcraft.
The end result is amazing.

I believe that MX6 is slated to work with surface controllers to some degree, that's a good start. I'd rececently asked about using my Tranzport and the staff replied that it should be compatible in mx6.

Simply because Mixcraft 6 beta hasn't started yet.

I agree that Beatcraft is great; VERY underrated; far better than any midi style drum interface I've tried; unless you're a pro drummer with a full kit as a midi input, there is liekly nothing better. Go to demondigital - get the sample projects and see how it's done.

Also - while it's a bit of added work, setting the EQ and other settings on each drum makes a world of difference.

I know this is not a Beatcraft thread, but just wanted to add this.

its the fact that
1.you buy itseperatly. fl hasit built in.
2.ebery time you add a sound you need to choosethe velocity.
in fl you can just click where you want it. the is also a type of piano roll in fl studio.

+you create a drum pattern in flstudio and record your synths right over top.
you dont need to export it and then have toload it seperatly in mixcraft.

im an engineer/producer by trade trust me it makes easier

i have a lot of respect fro acoustica. mixcraft is excelant.
