demo CD

Post by vonSeydlitz »

What is the best way to make a demo CD?

A few months ago I recorded 9 songs on MC4. I mixed them all down to mp3 into iTunes. From iTunes I burned my CDs.

Any other recommendations? Is there a better way? I'm on MC5 now.

You could set track markers in mixcraft and burn the cd right from there, skipping the other steps.

getting them mastered and pressed is more proffesional and if your sending them to lables it will make you look better

MP3 is a compressed file format -- you're better off mixing down to uncompressed WAV files, then loading them into iTunes (or Mixcraft) and burning them to a CD.
