Vocal Leveler

Any recommended Vocal leveler? I tried VocSteady and it is pretty good, but it is a bit expensive (It alone costs almost as much as the great Mixcraft 5).

I downloaded it, works great. I am a little confused as to the purpose of the three versions though.

Versions included: Steady Pro (mono), Steady Pro ST (stereo),
Steady Pro SMS (stereo-mono-stereo).

The steady pro plugin works ok but I have had it crash a few times, I personally use VocSteady
for all vocals, even for bass.
