When I import mp3 files into mixcraft, the track seems to always be on the distorted side. I usually just drop the mp3 onto a mixcraft track. When it's done, the sound waves highs are appear to be clipping.
Is there a way to control this so it does not clip?
Are you sure it's clipping? Try zooming way in and see if it really is clipping. Sometimes it just looks like it's clipping when you're zoomed way out.
If it actually is clipping, you should try recording the sound again if possible.
