Sony expressFX noise gate causes a random beep

Post by Kaproyce »

Using Mixcraft 5 and employing only the Sony express noise gate supplied with Mixcraft 5 on track 2 which is simply a voiceover for music on track 1 I am getting a random beeping noises of varying pitches. The noise gate is set to the default settings. I am using an Asus laptop with a core I7 inside. I get the beeping noise whether I am playing through speakers, or USB headsets or headsets plugged right into the side of the machine. This is a bit frustrating since I really want to use the noise gate is there any suggestions? Could I possibly use another effect? The beeping disappears when I turn the noise gate off. That's too bad because my audio is not very clean and I really could use the noise gate to help clean it up. Thanks for any help you can give me.

It's probably because you're using a demo, purchase it to remove the noises :)
