Ezdrummer Question

Post by Timotheus »

Im using an Alesis DM5 Pro Surge Cymbal kit. I have a dual zone snare and Cymbal which I use for a ride. Through the module on the cymbal I have it set to where the outer trigger is the ride sound and the inner is the bell. I want to do the same in Ezdrummer but the outer trigger is playing a hi hat sound. How or where do I change that. Cant find any information on the net about it. Thanks for any help you can give 8) Tim

Yes I looked and used multiple search terms to maybe bring up something on the dual zones. No luck though. Im finding out that I must be one of the few people in the world that have a DM5 kit lol. 8)

This what I found out. The Alesis DM5 doesnt come with Mapping capabilities so the sounds stay where they are with Ezdrummer. If I was goto Superior Drummer I could map it there or maybe look for a different module to run the Pads and cymbals. 8)
