I was read on another wesite that you can plug your amp. into the mirophone plug of your laptop to record from a regular tuntable. Woud this work with your software?

Using the microphone input doesn't work well for two reasons: 1) microphone inputs are mono, not stereo and 2) they have too much gain, so it can cause distortion.

You could always give it a try and see how it sounds, but it probably won't sound very good.

Thanks for the quick responce, I thought you might say that. I'm going to order your software and use my USB turntable. I appreciate your help. It's good to know I can ask and get answers.
