Hi,

I used the FAQ and my mixer still will not record anything.

I have windows 7. I tried the mic in each plug. Nothing.
I clicked on the sound icon on the task bar. None of that did any good.

Any suggestions?

David

Hi,

First of all, make sure you've got the correct connection on your computer. Look closely at the inputs on your computer and the microphone one should have a small microphone symbol next to it. On some computers, the microphone input is color-coded pink.

Once you've got the correct connection, check out this Acoustica MP3 Audio Mixer FAQ entry:

I have Windows Vista or Windows 7 and I get an error: There was a problem launching Window's Mixer.

The pink mic wire is plugged into the pink jack.

Windows says the mic is the default device. There is a green checkmark next to it.

I still can't record sound.

Your mic jack might be muted or disabled within windows sound properties, check that.
