Hi all,

Acoustica MP3 Audio Mixer users who get the Windows 10 Creators Update will find that audio playback doesn't work properly. If you need MP3 Audio Mixer, avoid updating or roll back the update if you've already run into the problem. We're contacting Microsoft to see if they will fix the bug they introduced in this update.

You could also try our newer Mixcraft software.

Edit: Microsoft has released the fix and it's in the latest Windows update: KB4022716 (OS Build 15063.447)

Simply updating Windows 10 should give you the fix.

Microsoft has a bug filed on this problem, so we're hoping they'll fix it in a timely fashion.

Microsoft Insider build 16188 seems to fix the Creators Update playback problem.

I just upgraded to Windows 10 and am running into what I assume is the "Playback Problem" - I have Windows 10 Home, and it says that everything is up to date. How can I work around this issue?

Hi,

Microsoft has a fix that they are testing. We don't know how soon they will release it, but we'll post about it here when it's available.

In the meantime, maybe you should try Mixcraft 8. MP3 Audio Mixer is really old software.

Thanks! I've been using MP3 Audio Mixer for probably 10 years now. One reason I loved MP3 Audio Mixer was becauase of it's affordability; unfortunately Mixcraft is a little out of my budget right now. I'll definitely keep an eye on it in the future.
