Deleting part of an mp3 causes shutdown

Post by jarvt »

Deleting part of an mp3 is causing MP3 Audio Mixer to shut down on me. It's one certain part that's causing the problem and it still happens if I move the mp3 to different tracks. I noticed that this was a bug fixed under 08/28/001.42 according to the history. I have the latest version (2.471b). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

In MP3 Audio Mixer, click on the File menu and select Preferences. On the Miscellaneous tab, make sure that you have write access and plenty of hard drive space for the temporary directory that is listed. Click the Delete Temporary Files button. Now see if it works.

Hi Greg,

Thank you for the advice. I tried your suggestions and I'm still having the same issue. However, I was able to export my project as an mp3, import the mp3 into a new project and work on it with no problem.
