Missing features

I shoot digital photos with my Nikon D2X.
I shoot 99.99% raw file format.
I think I got too excited and bought the software without first finding out what it would and would not do.
Here's what I see that's missing in the first few minutes of trying it.

Photos forever needs to give me the ability to select what file formats I want to save beyond the industry standard .jpg.
Automatically group the images into Year, Month, and Day based on desire of user if sorted by date at the option of the user.

Create a list of file extensions that my images might use.

.nef OR .NEF (Nikon)
.raf OR .RAF (Fujifilm)
.dng OR .DNG (Adobe digital negative)

Canon raw
Omega raw
Minolta raw

.gif or .GIF (Compuserve format)
.bmp or .BMP (Windows Bitmap)

Well You get the idea.

And there should be a place for user input of file extensions.

Is there a user manual? for this software.

Photos Forever supports the following formats:
* jpg, jpeg, jpe (JPEG)
* png
* bmp (Windows Bitmap)
* jfif, tif, tiff
* pef, ref, raf, dcr, crw, nef, x3f (RAW digital camera formats)

This info can be found in the FAQ.

There's really no manual beyond the program's help file and the FAQ. Photos Forever was intended to be just a very simple straightforward backup tool. Thanks for your feedback!

FYI: The latest version lets you set which formats, ie: gif, .psp that you backup. Run build 15 and click the "File Types" button on the first screen.
