Mixcraft effects switcher.

Post by ron-e-g »

I can remember while back a MC effect switcher that had some pretty cool presets. I have lost that program.
Is it still possible to get? Where?

Thanks,
Ron

Effect switcher? I'm afraid that that's not very descriptive of what you're referring to...

Anorax,

I was actually directing the question more towards the MixCraft team. I probably have the exact term or name wrong. They should know however, what I'm referring to. It was offered way back when we were in MC4... I think. Anyhoo, it was a separate downloadable set of presets for the Acoustica EQ, Reverb, Compressor, and what ever else relating to the Acoustica FX vst's.

Hi,

I don't recall a downloadable set of extra presets for Mixcraft 4. What are you looking for, specifically?

Are you thinking of the old grand piano that came before Pianissimo?

No Greg it wasn't specific to MC4 just was avail to download around that time..maybe even earlier! seems as I try to remember I had to download it to the desktop. You know it was through the Toad the wet sprocket site at the time (don't even remember what that was called). I'm sure I still have it saved somewhere on one of my HD's but haven't been able to locate it. It was really pretty cool. As I remember it it was some saved presets of one of your guys or some such thing.

Wow I can't believe it's so obscure..I know I didn't dream it! :P

You must be thinking of Acoustica Eric's "Effects Preset Switcher".

Looks like his old website is defunct, but you can still view it (and download the program) here:

BTW, Mixcraft's updates and newer versions incorporate a lot of the functions that these older add-ons provided.
