Microphone & Playback

Everything works fine for me, until I plug in my microphone. Mixcraft recognises it, but once it's in, playback stops working. The marker (or whatever it's called that shows the position in the track that you're at) stays put and doesn't move at all. Furthermore, even after the microphone has been removed, still nothing works. I can't record.

Does it happen if you plug your microphone in first, and then start Mixcraft?

What kind of microphone is it? How is it connected to your computer?

I plugged it in before turning on MixCraft...and it worked. Well, this is embarrassing. Thank you!

FWIW, I've never had a problem when I've had all external devices connected before opening MC, SOP now.
