Want to "reclaim" Roland PC-2000 MKII MIDI keyboar

Post by Brother Quotidian »

I purchased this for a song at an estate sale. But ...

1. All I have is the keyboard, which appears to be new.

2. No power supply (can run on batteries), but the power port on the back specifies 9v 50 mA ACA adapter only. So far, haven't found anything like this. The Roland website doesn't have anything like this, or I can't recognize it.

3. No cables of any sort. There's a single MIDI out port, and I *think* I can purchase a USB MIDI interface for it (MIDI on one end, USB on the other end of the cable).

I'd appreciate opinions on whether this keyboard can be deployed to input MIDI data via the USB port on my laptop for mixing/editing in Mixcraft 4.

Anyone got an opinion? A recommendation on where to find a power supply? I've googled the terms, but come up with nada.
