Importing multiple sound files at once?
I have multi-track folders and I was wondering how can I select all the wav files in the folder for the song to import them all at once instead of importing around 40+ wav files separately? I have tried using the shift and also the control buttons as well.

Hi,
Using Shift or Ctrl to select a bunch of files should work. Did you try dragging the selected files onto the tracks?
Are you doing this within Mixcraft's library? What version of Mixcraft are you using?
You can also select the files in Windows File Explorer and drag them into Mixcraft.

Re: Importing multiple sound files at once?
I am using the most current version, Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio 64x build 412 . How I go and import the wav files from the folder is as follows.
1. Left click the sound button in the upper left corner next to the track button.
2. Left click on the add sound file... or use the control+H
3. When the add sound file screen comes up I left click multitrack folder that I want to open and select the file that i want to add to the track one at a time.
I have tried the shift and ctrl keys and I cannot still select multiple files.
It does allow me to drag the files to the track but only one at a time.
Also I just wanted to let you know that Mixcraft 8 pro studio has been crashing on me on a regular basis and I even last night went a complete uninstall and reinstall and made sure everything was updated as well as the sound drivers for the computer and my audio interface as well. Every time it has crashed I have been filling the support receipts and sending all the reports that you guys ask for and haven't heard back from anyone yet.
Thanks,
Joseph

Re: Importing multiple sound files at once?
Here is a quick tip on importing multiple tracks into Mixcraft:
*(sorry, old dead link removed)
*Bonus tip. If you then use the "save" function and both name your new project and save it to the same folder as the audio files are in........

Thanks Greg.
Also I have went and submitted a few ones before this one. Is it possible to pull up the other crash reports to help you find out what is going on?
Thanks.
