64 bit Pianissimo

Post by wind_player1 »

Hi, I am looking to see if anyone or Acoustica will support standalone 64 bit pianissimo. I tried one of the previous solutions posted but it was still detected as 32 bit. If there is anyword on 64 bit support please let me know. I am entering a new college program soon and our required software is 64 bit only and JBridge can't solve this.

Thank You, Cj Rhen

Hi,

We don't currently have any plans to make a 64-bit version of standalone Pianissimo. Although, 32-bit Pianissimo should work just fine on your 64-bit computer. It wouldn't need more than 4 GB of RAM to operate, and the audio quality is the same.

I was a Cakewalk user and was always loved it until Gibson killed it. I had to switch to Cubase which dropped support for 32 bit. That is why I asked. I'm not thrilled about losing support for 32 bit plugins but it was worth the upgrade. If there will not updated for newer DAWs without work arounds I will switch to Native Intruments but if 64 bit support is ever realeased I will come back. Thank You, Cj Rhen.

Hi,

I thought you were asking about the standalone version of Pianissimo?

We created a 64-bit version of the Pianissimo plugin for Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio. Did you try the workaround in which we give you the 64-bit VST plugins files? If not, submit an Acoustica Support Request.
