Hi.
Just found this and so impressed I figured it was worth sharing:

I have a gazillion (in some cases rather expensive) reverb plugins. But man they can be complicated and not to mention most times I cannot seem to get what I want (and in most all cases the presets are a joke). So I started looking around for room modelling plugins and found this. This free thing does a real nice job of allowing you to place a mono track anywhere in relation to the listener for a real nice up front stereo / spatial type of effect. Play around with the "Ambience" setting as well i.e. got some real nice HUGE live sounding guitar with it (you know that sound of those LONG '80s guitar solos that went on forever and sounded HUGE with loads of ambience etc.).
Have fun.
Regards,
Dale.

Re: Reverb Alternative
Probably the last thing I need is another reverb app, but I'm still in research mode with plugins, so open to whatever. Will check out. Thx!

Ohhh...
So you think you're done with reverb plugins??? Think again!!! LOL!!!

I have some experience with this stuff (acoustic impulses) i.e. it's been around in Sound Forge (Sonic Foundry, SONY, now MAGIX) forever and the realism cannot be beat I'm afraid. I tried to look around for a free (but decent) IR loader for this stuff to post a link here but was not successful but I'm sure there must be one. I've got Voxengo's "Pristine Space" (https://www.voxengo.com/product/pspace/) with all the other stuff that goes with it. There is a demo (not sure what the restrictions are). Voxengo's product allows for zero latency processing (which can be a problem with this type of effect unfortunately) (and this is not your sound card latency to which I'm referring either by the way).
Anyways. Just thought I'd throw this into the mix (no pun intended).
Probably a bit much for your average rock / metal mix i.e. I see it more for classical or sound effects really (could be wrong though). Fascinating stuff though.

Dale.

Haven't tried yet but heard good things about this: https://vst.saschart.com/easyreverb_dig ... _resources
Re: Reverb Alternative
The site has been down since Friday. Dunno if it's permanent. Tried to download from KVR Audio but that links to Signaldusts' own site so no go. Found other places to download but I don't like downloading stuff that's not coming direct from the developers own website (unless it's something reputable like KVR).Abstract Chamber
