Mixcraft 9/Pro

Post by timakers »

Any chances of giving some new features or a clue as to when Mixcraft 9/Pro, if at all, will release?

Thanks

Hi,

We're not planning on adding any new features to Mixcraft 8, and Mixcraft 9 is probably a year or more away at this point.

This could just as well go in the MC suggestions thread but, how about following Apple's and Microsoft's example and go straight to version 10. :)

You should be shot.

I would be quite happy with a Mixcraft 8.1 with modest upgrades vs a 9 with "big sweeping changes."

Yes. Like support for multiple identical MIDI devices and options to export to 88.2kHz and 176.4kHz (the latter for no other reason than that it will make me feel better and sleep nights just knowing they're there).

Hilarious you are!!!

Just please don't go down the MAGIX road. You know what MAGIX's version an update (with bug fixes) is??? A PAID UPGRADE to the next (new) version!!! (Don't get any ideas!!! LOL!!!).

Dale.

Hi,

My favorite feature request is the one that's already been implemented.

We put in a lot of hard work on Mixcraft 8, and we'll be concentrating on Mixcraft 9 next.

Besides, our upgrade fees have always been quite reasonable. We are trying to make a living by selling Mixcraft, you know.

Again. Hilarious!!!

I got no problem with YOUR upgrade fees (I don't think anyway). But MAGIX takes the cake!!! There are REAL bugs outstanding on a particular version and they just merrily ignore 'em and release a new version (with the same bugs PLUS those inherent in the new version). Now I dunno but that seem very unfair to me. They caught me with Vegas 14 and then 15. Vegas 16 ain't gonna happen!!! Then again and knowing me: like a lamb to the slaughter ... LOL!!! They will not stop sending "upgrade specials" and the software reminds me every other day. Obviously a reason for that!!! LOL!!! (Like I said: don't get any ideas!!!).

Regards,

Dale.

No rush here.
Plenty of time to practice and learn before a new version drops. And I am OK with that.
Stay in tune, Mark

Evening,

Don’t know about anybody else but I always feel pretty guilty clicking ‘buy’ with those reasonable upgrade fees; probably a sign the software is pretty darn good.
