Studio Monitor Survey
Hi all,
What are you using for studio monitors?
How do you like them? Got your eye on something else?

Re: Studio Monitor Survey
I have a pair from Aleisis. Previous/superseded model. They are ok for the modest price.
They are but one of several resources for reference, and only a small part of the puzzle for me.
Yes I consider upgrading, but doubt the value without a larger space with more serious acoustic treatment. (And I don't mean just some foam panels.)
Decent cans with a calibrated correction seemed a better value at this time.

M-Audio AV32, definitely not high end but I'm just a hobbyist so happy with them.

HS 80's. For me these are perfect, I have no plans to change.
Re: Studio Monitor Survey
Equator D5s for the past 6 years when I moved to a smaller place.
Still going well and suit my purpose. The coaxial drivers give me a nice balanced sound and they will probably out last my years !
Think the're my longer in business now.

I'm using the Edifier R1280T Powered Bookshelf Speakers - 2.0 Stereo Active Near Field Monitors - Studio Monitor Speaker - Wooden Enclosure - 42 Watts RMS. Great sound and saves space and anti distortion.
