Anybody have Garritan Personal Orchestra 5 and or World Instruments?
Does it work ok (not crashing a lot) in Mixcraft Pro Studio 8?
Do you like it?
I want to buy them. I have Logic Pro X and Sonivox Orchestral Companions but I want more articulations and my Mac is old, can't really do more than a few tracks so I want to use Mixcraft.
I hope it goes on sale soon.

It was just on sale, maybe it still is and if not it will be again. But even without being on sale, it’s worth it IMO... I had MX6 and could have upgraded to MX8P for about $30, but Acoustica is a small company and I wanted to help, so I paid $99 while it was on sale.seeds wrote:<snip> my Mac is old, can't really do more than a few tracks so I want to use Mixcraft.

I love Mixcraft 8 Pro... Its powerful and really easy to use. Plus the Acoustica help here is awesome too.
I can’t comment about the other software because I don’t have it.

Morning!
At first I thought the thread title was "Garritan POS" with my groggy eyes!
Just curious, is the Garritan that comes with Finale a VST? I can't seem to find my Finale 2012 disc but I seem to remember liking the sounds!

Garritan Personal Orchestra works great with Mixcraft in the Aria Player. The free sounds that can be downloaded for use in either the Aria player (which comes with Garritan sound libraries) or the free single layer Sforzando are great too

I don't know I don't have it yet. I'm dreaming though because I don't want to pay monthly for East West and its too expensive otherwisebigaquarium wrote:Morning!
