An added window next to the sound & clip windows, A Track Window that not only shows all notes in a clip but all the clips within the timeline. There is a secondary advantage to having this new window, which is the ability to have a track advance arrow button to go up or down from track to track, which cannot be done within the clip window obviously.

People can join the forum on weekends too. For example: spammers do it regularly.

Okay I changed the policy because I like beer, lol.

PS: I was sad to read you were in the hospital (hospitals suck)... so I was happy to read you’re back home. Have a fantastic weekend. Cheers :D

Reitterating it so it doesn't get lost in the noise:

Being able to route midi *out* of VSTs that exist on audio tracks. Example being the Jam Origin's excellent Midi Guitar software. This is a major show stopper (And yeah I've tried the suggestion to run it separately and run it via midi loop, doesn't work, my audio drivers just don't seem to like it)

Scriptability would be amazing too. LUA is easiest option. Python would be the nicest (but perhaps harder, its an odd duck to embed) option. Though LUA runs blinding fast which opens up some DSP options. Mono would be the most flexible option.

I would like to see ability to transpose Midi Clips Diatonically instead of in semitones only. The ability to work diatonically with clips would be useful especially when working with chords and helps save time by not having to change maj to minor all the time.

Ability to save individual clips as mid files would be another useful resource.

Ability to patch in one track to another so record midi from another track or track to track.

Also better functionality with Windows platform as I have had issues with audio when there are multiple tracks as in the demo tracks supplied with Mixcraft 8 for example. I have reported this issue and asked for support but the matter has never been adequately resolved.

Hi,

Looks like our last suggestion to you was to try out 32-bit Mixcraft (because of your computer configuration). I'll reply to that email again.

I can open two MX8 projects simultaneously, but I’m not able to drag and drop tracks from one project to the other... That feature would be nice in MX9.

Hi,

You may already know this, but you can copy and paste clips from one project to another by opening the first project, copying the clips, then opening the second project within the same instance of Mixcraft, and pasting.
