Riding with the King is a cut from the blues album of the same name by Eric Clapton and B.B. King that was released in 2000. It was their first collaborative album and won the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album. Covered by many artists as a blues classic, my take.

I always thought this was a John Hiatt original! Have listened to Hiatts version a lot! I think your version stays true to Hiatts version, I haven´t heard the original though!
Double tracked vocals? Great job!

Re: Riding With The King
It was written by John Hiatt. Released in '83 on an album by the same name.

Glad to see there are other blues aficionados out there. Yes John Hiatt wrote the composition that came about when producer Scott Mathews recounted to Hiatt a strange and abstract dream he had of flying on an airplane with Elvis Presley. It is also the title track of Hiatt's 1983 album of the same name that Mathews co-produced. Listen to the organ parts in his version, outstanding.
