Hi,

Yes. If you have problems with GTR3, try using the VST2 version instead of the VST3 version. Some Waves VST3 plugins are touchy.

I use Guitar Rig as part of the NI Komplete suite, but only with virtual instruments. It works fine.

Keep in mind, Amplitube4 is 64 bit only, so it will not work in 32 bit Mixcraft.
Otherwise I concur with the above. All work for me in Mixcraft8

Check out ToneLib-GFX guitar amp sim. It's pretty cool and its free.
And I've been using it in Mixcraft for about a week.
Waves PRS Supermodels sounds good and sometimes goes on sale for $29.
The stomp box effects in GTR are good. The amps are pretty good but be sure to get it
when its on sale.
