Not enough information... Poor sound? It’s best to start with good basic tracks rather than trying to fix them later.Cicone77 wrote:Hi all !

I'd have to agree. Far too little info as to what you have or what you want to do.
Looking back at your first post where you shared an image of the Icon software screenshot, and its related question-
First off, I notice you are editing an MP3 file. Why? Editor settings at 44/16. I'm confused.
And the warning you were getting indicates a level that was excessive. Guessing here, but if the recorded level was clipped, and the result is distortion, "fixing" it is likely a hopeless mission.
"poor sound" even if well described I'd probably have to hear what we are talking about.
"edit" "enhance" "boost" ? no more specific description=No idea what to suggest.
Love to help, but ya gotta clarify a lot of stuff here.

I just want to know how to proceed to edit an audio file in Mixcraft. That's all.
Quite simple.

If by 'boost' you mean an increase in volume, right click on the clip>Properties> Normalize. (or Ctrl K)
Or try an EQ plugin.
Listen carefully on good speakers or headphones and analyse what is not right with the sound.
Too much bass? Cut the lower frequencies from about 200 KHz downwards
Too muddy? Cut around 500 K
Not enough top end? Try boosting around 2000 KHz and up.
Small increments at first (2 or 3 Db) but don't be limited by that - if it needs more, give it more!. Then compare what you've done by by-passing the EQ; listen to the original, then EQ back on to see if it's made the difference you were after.

Hi,
Here are videos on audio editing: Audio Editing in Mixcraft.
Adding a compressor plugin can add a perceived boost in volume.
