What do you mean by add new versions to save? Do you want a "Save As..." button?

Hi,
Let's say your working on your version 3.
A single button { usually a + } will make it 3.1. Next 3.2, next 3.3, etc { or 4, 5, 6 } {or an
assignable hot key }
You don't have to fiddle with typing or slowing your workflow down.
{ I've seen this very useful feature on high end programs }
thanks

Re: request FOR V 9
Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion!
Edited to add: Mixcraft does create a backup project each time you save, so it's already doing this in a way. Each backup project has a time stamp instead of being named v2, v3, etc.

Re: request FOR V 9
I think he means... The ability to quickly save, recall and store several different mixes of a recording project BEFORE committing to mixing down to MP3, Wave, etc files. For example like "snapshot" that lets you try different mixes, FX, EQ, or any mixer setting or track parameters before you decide which one to mixdown. You can click on any of 8 snapshots for instant A-B comparison. You can save the raw project before mixdown and come back and start again should you have second thoughts... If so, it's already been requested for MX9 (my #1 request)... But the more request for this the better the chance of getting it added to MX9.Acoustica Greg wrote:Hi,

EDIT: BTW: How do we view the different backup project time stamps (v2, v3, etc.)?

Re: request FOR V 9
Hi,
Yeah, the suggestion is for version control. I'm just pointing out what he has now.
Just look in the Backup folder inside your project folder.
Edited to add: this feature wouldn't be in Mixcraft 9.0.
