AKAI MPD26 USB pad controller help

I am thinking of getting a pad controller, the AKAI MPD26. Does anyone here know how to set this up in Mixcraft? I am using Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio. I tried setting up a similar device a few years ago but Mixcraft couldnt find the device...there was no way to set it up. I want to use this MPD26 basically as a drum pad but I have no clue how to assign buttons and all that stuff. If anyone can help with step by step instructions I would really appreciate it! I have the Akai LPD 8 and it works great. You have to make sure you're pads have a cc# that you can set in their editor, then you match those cc# to the drums your using. I use EZD2 and each pad is set to a different drum/cymbal.
