Mixcraft 9.0 build 427 is the current build

Post by Acoustica Greg »

Hello beta testers,

Build 427 is now being tested! If you’ve got build 426, please download and install 427.

Greg

NOTES:
1. we're testing Mixcraft 9 Recording Studio, not Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio.
2. use the trial version for testing, we're not issuing registration codes.
3. if you want old plugins like the Classic or Acoustica effects, or Impulse, be sure to choose to install the legacy plugins when you run the installer.

I have never tried using drums in Mixcraft most of my music does not use drums. But I thought it would be good to test some stuff with drums and was wondering is there such a things as a Drum Map in Mixcraft?

As I had not found them in 8 I was wondering if they had been added to 9? Hence the question here.

Yes... Search "Drum Maps" in the Mixcraft 8 manual (I.E. page 79, 83, etc).

PS: NOTE: this forum is for beta testers only.

Hi,

They are in the same place they were in (recent) previous versions of Mixcraft: see where it says Chromatic in the piano roll? Select that menu and scroll down.

Edited to add: also see page 83 of the help manual to see how advanced users can create their own custom drum maps.

You're just not used to accessing it right from the Piano Roll. ;-)

A tooltip would be nice, that seems like a good feature request.
