Increased lag time?
I'm not sure what the reason could be, but I feel as if I'm noticing a slightly delayed lag time when I open up MX9 and when I mix clips down to a new clip. I'm on Windows 10, Intel i7-8700 16Gb RAM so I don't think it's my hardware but I'm not sure.

Ah I must have worded that weirdly. When I use the "Mix to new clip" option or ctrl + W, it takes longer than MX8 took to create the merged/new clip, both with MIDI and audio clips.

Have you updated to build 442 yet? There were a bunch of bug fixes.

Hi,
I'm not noticing any difference. Hard drive speed would make a big difference here. If you were using a slow drive for your project files folder, it would take longer.

Re: Increased lag time?
I'm resurrecting an old topic, but my hard drive is a 250GB SSD with about 50GB of free space so I don't think that's the issue. Maybe I'm not remembering MX8 correctly, but reversing and mixing down clips never took this long and really slows down the process for me.Acoustica Greg wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 10:27 am Hi,

Hi,
The next time you notice this, quit Mixcraft and send us your mixcraft-log.txt file.
To find the mixcraft-log file, highlight the following line and press Ctrl+C to copy it:
Press the Windows Key+R to pop up the Run box in Windows. Click in the Run box and press Ctrl+V to paste in the line from above. Finally, click OK to go to the location of the mixcraft-log.txt file. Submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the log file along with a brief description of the problem.
