Tempo Mapping - Unwanted Tempo Markers

Post by davefk »

Is there any way to turn off these markers? These have come from an old midi file but now MX9 has tempo mapping then why do we still need these tempo markers? Can you give us a way to hide these please?

Well, assuming you want to keep the tempo data, but not see the tempo markers here?
If so, (I think) you would want to convert.....
I am pretty sure that would be a feature request..... An interesting one at that.
A bit obscure, as it would primarily effect only files moved from previous versions, if I am not barking up the wrong tree here.
Stay in tune, Mark

Yep, I want to keep the tempo data but not the markers. Mixcraft have been representing tempo data with these markers for years, and when I heard of MX9 tempo mapping, I was pleased they have gone about it another way, but it seems only for NEW files, not older midi files. Mixcraft just let us hide the tempo markers please...........................

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion! I guess what you could do right now would be to select the tempo data, copy it, quickly delete the track markers via the track marker list, and then paste the tempo data back in.
