can the new mixcraft 9 be used as a rewire slave? not just master but I want to open it in reaper.
I know i can open reaper in mixcraft but i want to do it the other way around now that Reaper is my main DAW I never use mixcraft anymore.
i'm considering upgrading to 9 though, if i could open Mixcraft as a slave to Reaper just for the mixcraft omni drums

Hi,
We did not make Mixcraft 9 a ReWire Slave, but thanks for the suggestion!

I was excited to upgrade to 9 at a discount just now, and googled this same question and only got back MY post from years ago .
So.... I guess Mixcraft still can't be opened as VST in another DAW? Maybe v10?

Re: mixcraft 9 as rewire slave?
Hi,
Having a VST version of Mixcraft and acting as a ReWire slave are two different things, but we don't currently support either one, and the same will likely be true for Mixcraft 10.
Thanks for the suggestion!
