A Couple Of Program Suggestions:
These aren't deal breakers or even 'must have' features but they'd be very handy for me personally, particularly the adding silence bit.
1: I'd like to see a 'Clear Recent File List' option added. I work on numerous projects at a time and it can be hard to keep track of what I'm working on, so it would be good to be able to clear the recent file list from time to time, just to make it easier me to know what I'm doing.
2: Insert silence. This annoys me a bit because I'm frequently inserting silence to parts of my projects and I don't find it easy to do in Mixcraft, so I use a separate program. This means at times, creating a WAV file, saving it then loading it into the other program, doing what I need to do, saving it again and then inserting it again into Mixcraft. It would be much, much easier if I could do this as easily within Mixcraft. I've linked to a short, 16 second video clip of me inserting silence using the other program, just so you can see what I'm talking about.

Like I say, they'd be useful features for me personally but might not be of any interest to anyone else, so don't knock yourselves out!
Thanks!

Hi,
Select the area you want to be silent, then right-click in the selected area of the time line and choose Insert Selected Time.

Re: A Couple Of Program Suggestions:
Cant get much easier than the way it works in Mixcraft IMO!
I could see the other suggestion being useful for some, but to be honest- I find myself opening projects from the project folder more than I ever use the previous project function any more. Really not a big deal.

@ Greg,
Hi. I'm doing exactly what you're saying with a WAV file and the 'Insert Selected Time' is greyed out as you can see:

If I do what that video is instructing me to do, then it highlights all the tracks, so you insert a silence in all of them. I want to do one particular track individually.

Re: A Couple Of Program Suggestions:
Hi,
Oh, right. That would be a feature request. You can, of course, just select the clips on the track and drag them over, but that wouldn't move any automation.
Thanks for the suggestions!

Re: A Couple Of Program Suggestions:
Maybe split the individual track twice and delete the center measures?

Re: A Couple Of Program Suggestions:
Thanks Greg but like I say, if there's no great demand for this, then don't go overboard to include it. I can just continue to do what I'm currently doing.
Thanks.

Re: A Couple Of Program Suggestions:
You can go about inserting silence another way ...... Highlight the track you want to edit, use the scissors tool ctrl + alt to select an area start and end, click the "mute" button or delete! ...or drag the the selection to another track to insert elsewhere.

Re: A Couple Of Program Suggestions:
Yep.
Or you could automate the level for the desired section.

Re: A Couple Of Program Suggestions:
Soloing the track avoids interfering with nieghboring tracks when using scissors.
