Recording glitch produces fast or slow speeds

Post by jm345 »

Using Mixcraft 9 Pro I have had two occasions where I did a simple two track recording (guitar and vocal). After saving as both a MX9 project and mp3, one time the recording played back at a really slow speed. And the other time it was like twice as fast. I have since updated to Build 452 and so far haven't had that issue. Was this an issue in a previous build? Or is there something else happening that could cause that? Thanks

When you mix down make sure you're using the same settings as you recorded with, a sample or baud rate difference would do what you're describing.

Thanks for that. I doubt those would have changed since I don't even know where the settings are. And other recordings were fine. But is it possible to have changed those settings without intentionally doing it? Thanks

Thanks, I will check that out. I did search the forum for my issue but nothing like that showed up.
