Connecting my Yamaha Reface YC to Mixcraft 7

Hey everyone,

I am trying to connect my Yamaha Reface YC organ to Mixcraft 7. It registers but it just plays the options that Mixcraft 7 has for MIDI instruments. What I mean is when I connect it, it is the default piano sound that Mixcraft offers. I can rotate between the different MIDI instruments that Mixcraft offers as options, but I just want it to play my Reface organ. I want to be able to fully register my organ so I can adjust the sound the way I want to on the organ itself. Am I missing anything here? I'm still new to MIDI instruments and am used to recording guitar/bass through my external interface (Focusrite Scarlett Solo).

Hey there,

I noticed you have your R & L/Mono line outputs plugged in as well. I am guessing that is necessary eh? And am I able to plug it in to my Scarlett Solo? It only has one instrument input jack and one headphone jack.
