Mixcraft 6 suddenly wont recognize plugins

Hello,

I've had mixcraft 6 installed on my computer for a few months now on a new computer with no issues at all. Now all of a sudden all my VSTs are gone. Furthermore, If I go to Preferences->Plugins->Edit Vst/Vsti Folders-> add my VST Directories -> Press OK -> now go back to Edit Vst/Vsti Folders then the list is completely empty again. Thus re-adding the VST folders and then re-scanning does nothing as the folder locations themselves don't appear to be saving in Mixcraft. Already tried uninstalling and re-installing Mixcraft. Using the mixcraft6-b217-c-setup installer

What is going on?? Everything was working flawlessly and now all of a sudden this happened.

Hi,

Try this: right-click on Mixcraft's icon, select Run As Administrator, then set your VST folders again.

Also, poor old Mixcraft 6 also has a problem in which it inappropriately adds plugins to its VST ignore list at the drop of a hat. Use a text editor to remove the names of any plugins you don't want to ignore from this file: C:\Programdata\Acoustica\Mixcraft\VSTignore.ini
