How do you dual?

Post by bigaquarium »

Good morning,

Well I shelled out a whopping $20 for a matching 22" monitor for my Lenovo AIO (and $40 for the displayport cable grrrr) for some dual screen action.

How do you configure your windows? A giant timeline? Separate mixer?

Hi,
When I had my computer built, I had a video card installed that could run a second video monitor. I was given a monitor, which is different from my first. I purchased a adapter to be able to connect it. Turned on the computer and both monitors. Monitor one had the desktop icons, monitor two ha the same picture without the icons.
When I opened Mixcraft I undocked the mixer section and dragged it to monitor two. This way I can view the mixer and see more tracks on monitor one.
I checked the monitor settings, but I didn't have to do any thing as it configured itself.

Hope this helps.
