Details area issues on multiple monitors
Hi, I'm getting some problems with Mixcraft 9 (latest version) on multiple monitors.
I've previously reported sizing uses when running M9 on a hidpi monitor and trying to have the details on a lower res screen. I've now got two hi-dpi monitors, running on one and putting the details on the other screen, if I try and maximum the details by dragging it to the top of the screen, the top of the window is above the monitor - so I can't drag it down.
By hiding and reshowing the details I managed to drag it down and it works well. But when I close and reopen Mixcraft, it doesn't open as it was left but things get moved around. My problem is, the projects I'm working on are in MX9 format and I can't open them in MX8 - which doesn't have any problems with multiple monitors. Until the multiple monitor problems are sorted, is there any way to save a project in MX9 so it can be read by MX8?

Hi,
No, because Mixcraft 8 would become flummoxed by the new features in Mixcraft 9.
I'll pass along your comments to the software developers.

You've got build 460, right? If not, try updating.

Re: Details area issues on multiple monitors
Hi, thanks for the reply; yes I'm running 460 - always trying the latest version.
Re: Details area issues on multiple monitors
Here's a screen capture showing the problem. The right hand screen has the Details window on - that has been maximised, but it's not covering the whole screen and the top of the window is above the screen, so it can't be moved.
Re: Details area issues on multiple monitors
I'm seeing a similar problem as well. I'm running three monitors, HDMI as primary with a DVI and a VGA. After I add a TDR compressor into the track effects and open it, it changes the resolution on all three monitors which pushes effects that were already open off the top of the smaller monitors to where you can no longer get to them.
Is there guidance on how to set multiple monitor resolutions to keep issues like this from occurring? Running MC9 on Windows 10?

Almost forgot, it's build 462.

It's been six months since this has been reported; any progress on a fix - will it be fixed in 10?

Hi,
Don't know yet, but I will lobby for it. Mixcraft 10 should have improved support for hi res monitors.
