I upgraded to Mixcraft 9 and I can't get Messiah Version 2 to work.
Installed Windows C++ 2015 Redistributable(x64) but Messiah Version 2 can't find api-ms-win-crt-runtime-|1-1-0.dll
Sooooo, how can I stop Mixcraft from loading Messiah Version 2?
When I look at the loaded plugins, Messiah Version 2 isn't there. Just Messiah Version 1
Solution?
Removing Messiah Version 2?

Re: Removing Messiah Version 2?
Hi,
You restarted your computer after installing the Visual C++ Redistributable, and it didn't help?
Did the installation complete successfully? What version of Windows do you have?
If you'd rather just delete Messiah 2, it's located here: C:\Program Files\Acoustica Mixcraft 9\VST\3rdParty
But I'd like to know why this problem is happening in some cases.

Re: Removing Messiah Version 2?
It's broken Greg, that's why it doesn't Work. It's been broken since Dec'19 according to these boards.
Only Messiah Version 1 folder shown in VST/3rdParty
but there is Messiah Version 2.dll
So riddle me this... How can remove A 3rdParty VST from the Mixcraft startup if Messiah Version 2 is NOT in the VST folder?

Re: Removing Messiah Version 2?
Hi,
Messiah 2 is working just fine for me, and for most other Mixcraft users.
I do have the "Messiah Version 2.dll" file in that folder. Maybe that's part of the mystery about what's happening on your computer. So you definitely have "Messiah Version 1.dll", but not 2? Do you have a sub-folder called Messiah?
I assume you've tried installing again?
A log file might shed some light on what's happening. If installing again doesn't help, try using Messiah 2, and then quit Mixcraft and send us the mixcraft-log file.
To find the mixcraft-log file, highlight the following line and press Ctrl+C to copy it:
Press the Windows Key+R to pop up the Run box in Windows. Click in the Run box and press Ctrl+V to paste in the line from above. Finally, click OK to go to the location of the mixcraft-log.txt file. Submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the log file along with a brief description of the problem.
