externe Midifiles
Hello everyone, some questions:
1. Is there a possibility with Mixcraft 8 to automatically know midi files from external keyboards by name when importing.
2. to regulate these midis of the external keyboard from the Mixcraft mixer to regulate the volume?
Greetings Gerry

Re: externe Midifiles
Do you mean if I save or create a midi file from a particular keyboard (roland, Casio, Yamaha, etc.) then when I load that file into Mixcraft, Mixcraft will understand which keyboard that file was made from?
Then based on which keyboard the file was loaded from Mixcraft will apply specific volumes on playback?

I meant the correct midi track names.

Not sure if this is relevant but when I convert Guitar Pro tabs to midi and move them into MC, they are automatically assigned the instruments that were in Guitar Pro.

Yes, that's clear, I also play the right instruments.
But only a piano is shown with the names. Not the instrument names.
with other DAWS the correct names are displayed immediately

Hi,
If you're not already doing this, try opening the .mid file like a Mixcraft project: File Menu > Open Project.

Hi,
It depends on the MIDI file. Here's one that I randomly found on the Internet that does display the instrument names.

Hi,
Yeah, there can be a lot of variations from one MIDI file to the next.
