Problems with Granular Plug-ins

Post by CarloAngelo »

Hi,

I've downloaded some granular plugins like "The Mangle" and some other granular-type ones (some people call them FSU plugins) like copyshop2. Mixcraft seems to be "overloaded" since whenever I use those ones the program just stops without warning. There is no "Mixcraft is not responding..." prompt. With "The Mangle" it just mutes the VSTi, but with an effects plugin, the whole program stops. I can submit a ticket and I did submit one before (but those were for Air Music vst's). I upgraded my system and i downloaded build 462. But when Mixcraft stops without warning, i can't seem to find the option to submit a ticket or crash report. I kind of like using those plug-ins so is there a way to fix this or can anyone recommend a stable granular type VSTi or effect that won't stop Mixcraft dead in its tracks? Thanks guys

Hi,

Get the problem to happen again, then quit Mixcraft and send us your mixcraft-log.txt file.

To find the mixcraft-log file, highlight the following line and press Ctrl+C to copy it:

Code: Select all

%appdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft\
Press the Windows Key+R to pop up the Run box in Windows. Click in the Run box and press Ctrl+V to paste in the line from above. Finally, click OK to go to the location of the mixcraft-log.txt file. Submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the log file along with a brief description of the problem.
