Turning Off All FX at Once

Post by DanTheSongwriter »

Another question that's probably a no-brainer...

I have some fx on the Master, a few on a couple of guitar tracks and some on a Submix for drums. I'm trying to compare the volume between zero fx and combined fx. How do I turn off all the fx at once?

Thanks.

I just tried different ways, like linking, selecting all tracks and it seems there is no provision to shut them off in entirety. You would have to turn off all track fx groupings individually.

There is the master checkbox in your track vst menu, you could have those open and a/b whatever you like.

Sure, but 'twould be a pain to do on say 20 tracks plus the master. I don't know how feasible this is to program, but I think this would be a great feature.

There is an option to do this when you mix down to stems. Thanks for the suggestion!
