Guitar simulating plugins

Post by jwarv »

Howdy folks,

Does anyone know of a plugin that let's you simulate the sound of different types of guitars? And I don't mean amps. For example, I play a Les Paul but may want the sound of a Strat or a PRS. So far I've been using Red Shift Pickup Replacer
(https://www.kvraudio.com/product/redshi ... acmebargig), which isn't half bad, but I was wondering if there's anything better or more specific to the brands I mentioned.

Blue Car has Re-Guitar, it'll let you choose all kinds of different combos.

Any particular reason they have to be in one plugin? There are some good plugins out there, but usually they play just one guitar type.

If you're still looking, Bias FX 2 has exactly what you're looking for and it's a pretty solid guitar effects plugin.
